Taking Test

Not all courses will include tests. Alternatives to tests might include: papers, discussion groups, homework assignments, portfolios, and/or projects.

Proctored tests
Some courses require proctored tests to be administered by an institution near the student's location.

Tips for taking electronic tests

• Take practice tests and quizzes.
• Familiarize yourself with how the test will be conducted. Is it timed or un-timed, when does it have to be taken, can you take it more than once?
• Make sure that you won't be interrupted or disturbed while taking the test.
• Have all the materials you will need with you before beginning.
• If it is timed, keep track of the time and pace yourself.
