Check Your ECU E-Mail

Your ECU E-mail Account

In your acceptance letter you received your ECU Pirate ID. You will use your Pirate ID to access your ECU Email, ECU OneStop, Blackboard or other course management systems.

The pirate ID will include your last name, first initial (or additional letters of your first name) and the year admitted to ECU.

First initial(s):ja for James (or additional letters of the first name)

Checking ECU E-Mail

 

As an online student, your ECU e-mail account is your official channel of communication when contacting the university. Use this email account when corresponding with your instructor, the Division of Continuing Studies or other departments at ECU. Each semester, the Division of Continuing Studies will send important information to you utilizing this e-mail address. To access your e-mail account via the Web, go to https://mymail.ecu.edu/ and enter your Pirate ID and Passphrase (Your initial Passphrase consists of a $ sign and your ECU ID Example: $B01234567)
