There may be additional fees associated with Distance Education courses for verification of student identity for proctored examinations.
Tuition payments for distance education courses can be made on-line through ECU’s Pirate Port via a secure connection, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can access Pirate Port at https://pirateport.ecu.edu/portal/. Click on the Tools tab and under "Cashier", click on Tuition Statements and Payments.
In order for a student to pay for textbooks with financial aid or any type of scholarship, money must be deferred to a bookstore account. For more information, visit the following webpage, www.ecu.edu/1card/Current-Uses.cfm and select the Bookstore tab under the Spending Accounts section, then scroll down to #2.
To avoid having class schedules canceled, consult the Cashier's Office tuition page "Important Dates" for payment deadlines.
For information about tuition refunds see the Tuition Refund Policy page.
