PPC has received and continues to receive considerable commentary on the White Paper (02/15/2012) and on the suggested reorganization Scenarios (03/30/2012) that are under consideration. While some of the comments were designated as confidential by the individual providing them, many others come from units or individuals and are provided on the Phase Two Documents Page. Thank you for your continued participation in this important process.
PPC's Reorganization White Paper was presented to our campus community on 02/15/2012. After careful consideration of feedback to that document r
esulting from the campus electronic survey, numerous individual responses, many college forums, and a special called ECU Faculty Senate meeting, PPC now presents the attached document which contains a limited number of possible structural change Scenarios for campus consideration and feedback. We remain thankful for your participation and we ask for one more round of interaction as we assemble and present a final recommendation on possible reorganization to the Chancellor no later than April 30, 2012. Dates, times, and locations of campus forums are contained in the document. Feel free to address questions and concerns to any member of the PPC.
As previewed in the White Paper of 02/15/2012, PPC conducted a survey of campus constituents between February 24 and March 9, 2012. Respondents were asked to react to 57 possible structural change items in terms of six aspects of perceived costs and benefits associated with each. Results for the 57 items are contained in the document linked below. Responses to an open ended question (favored structural changes omitted from the menus) are contained at the end of the results along with respondent demographics (employee category, division, and college).
