The Innov8r Series, an undertaking of ECU’s Entrepreneurial Initiative (EI), is a series of eight classes designed to educate entrepreneurs seeking to take innovative products or ideas to the market through appropriate business practices.
In accordance with the EI’s mission to “foster entrepreneurship within the university community and eastern North Carolina,” the Innov8r Series also offers an avenue for entrepreneurs, investors and service providers to interact face to face. Each class will include a one-hour presentation on the month’s topic, a one-hour discussion with a panel of experts on the chosen topics and a one-hour networking session.
The Innov8r Series provides entrepreneurs with the skills and resources needed to take the initial steps in developing a concept into commercialization.
Class 4 of the series: "Building a prototype and technical assessment/market assessment" is scheduled for November 2008. Please check back for more information regarding times, speakers, and agendas. Registration Fees:
$25 per class for non-students
$10 per class for students (w/ID)
$30 at the door
