The PROCARE Study
Prostate Recovery Enhancement for African American prostate cancer survivors and their Intimate Partners (PROCARE) is a study to help African American prostate cancer survivors and their partners cope with the physical and emotional challenges that one may face after prostate cancer surgery within the past 3 years. The PROCARE Study will help researchers develop new ways to help African American prostate cancer survivors and their partners after treatment.
Couples who enroll in The PROCARE Study will have the opportunity to participate in a 6-week educational program over the telephone. Speaker phones will be provided to each couple free of charge and each couple can receive up to $150 for participating.
