The Color of Poison

Kyle Summers completed his Baccalaureate in biology at the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1984. He went on to complete his Doctorate on the ecology and evolution of the poison-dart frogs at the University of Michigan in 1990. From 1991 to 1992, he was a Smithsonian Postdoctoral Fellow at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama, working on the evolutionary ecology and molecular systematics of poison-dart frogs in South and Central America.
