Program Updates Effective Fall 2009 MD in 7Thank you for your interest in East Carolina University and the MD in 7 program. After careful and deliberate review, and with the support of all involved faculty and staff, the Brody School of Medicine has decided to discontinue the MD in 7 program. Students entering East Carolina University as freshmen during the fall 2009 semester will be the last group to be considered eligible for this program. This decision does not decrease the Brody School of Medicine entering class size, nor does it reduce the chances of admission for qualified students at East Carolina University. The MD in 7 program was just one route for students to apply to medical school, and we encourage you to explore the various other options available to you.
