Faculty Guidelines for Summer Study Abroad
The programs take quite a bit of preparation and require approval from both your academic unit, college or school (for the academic portion) and the Office of Continuing Studies and Office of International Affairs (for the financial portion). Faculty interested in leading a Summer Study Abroad program should begin planning early in the Fall semester. The deadline for submitting a proposal is November 1.
If you are interested in planning a study abroad program, please consult your department head and review the SSAb Faculty Guidelines. Then fill out the SSAb Program Proposal form. Return all completed forms to the Summer Study Abroad Coordinator, Carolyn Thompson, at 404-E, Self Help Center, East Carolina University.
