College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

Test Dates: The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is now a computer-based examination administered by appointment Monday through Friday. The test takes about two hours, and is only offered on the computer.

Step 1: Find Out Your College's CLEP Policy. CLEP Credit at East Carolina University is available at CLEP Credit.
Step 2: Log In to the My Account Registration Portal. Visit clep.collegeboard.org to log in or register for your exam. Examination fee is due when you register.
Step 3: Schedule Appointment with the Test Center. You can visit or call our office to schedule an appointment between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Administration fee is due when you schedule.

Cost: $85 examination fee paid to the College Board at the time of online register. $30 administration fee paid to ECU at the time of scheduling exam.
