FAQ

How long does it take for me to receive my scores?
It depends on the test, most tests take at least 4-6 weeks.

Can you send me any information on the tests that you give?
We do not mail testing information. We do, however, have information on most tests in our office (Brewster D102), you can also check out the individual test's web-site, or contact them directly to mail information.

How do I get my scores from a test I previously took at ECU?
If the scores were sent here at the time of the test, either Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions probably has a copy of your scores. The individual testing companies will have to re-mail your scores otherwise and will have to be contacted directly. You may call us (328-6811) for individual testing company's phone numbers or you can check out their web site (see individual listings).

Where can I find study materials for the test I am taking?
It depends on the test. Most tests offer study guides that are available at your local university bookstores or large bookstores (ie. Barnes & Noble). Certain study materials can be purchased on-line through the testing company (see individual listings for web pages). The School of Business at ECU offers a study course for the GRE and the GMAT, they can be reached at 328-6377. Most colleges and universities offer study courses for the GRE.

How do I register for the MAT?
Please call the Testing Center for an appointment (252-328-6811).  You will be asked to pay at the time of registration when you call.  The MAT is offered each week day, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 3:30pm.  The cost of the exam is $85.00.  Please call or email us for more information.

How do I obtain a proctor?

Fill out the online request here: http://www.ecu.edu/cs-acad/testingcenter/Proctoring-Services.cfm

What score do I need to receive to be admitted into my graduate program?  That varies depending on the university and the department.  Please see the graduate advisor in your prospective graduate program.
