The Advising ExperienceThe Degree in Three Program advisers meet with students in person or via telephone prior to their initial summer enrollment to provide pre-college counseling and get students registered for the summer session. Shortly thereafter, advisers customize a 3-year plan with the student. Advisers also provide ongoing advising to assist students with the priority registration process that ensures that they get the classes they need when they need them. If a class is not available, advisers see to it that an appropriate substitution that fits into the 3-year plan is found. It is never too early to plan for graduate school - especially for students who are finishing in three years. Advisers assist students with finding the right graduate program for them, in addition to offering advice on the graduate admissions process. |
