Welcome to the University Writing Center at East Carolina University
At the UWC, students, faculty, and staff of the university can receive instruction in writing skills and assistance with specific writing assignments in any discipline.
This website provides a virtual place where these same members of the university can find resources to help them with writing. The menu to the left provides links to these various resources, such as writing guides for students and instructors, information about face-to-face tutoring, and the opportunity for Distance Education students to submit writing for online consultation.
Students seeking help with papers/projects for their English 1100 or English 1200 courses should visit the First Year Writing Studio in Bate 2005.
