Get the Card! The ECU 1 Card is the official photo ID card for East Carolina University. All students, staff, and faculty need this card whenever they are asked to show university identification. The ECU 1 Card is worn as an ID badge at the Brody School of Medicine. While the ECU 1 Card is required for identification purposes, other accounts linked to the card are optional.
Where do I go? The main ECU 1 Card Office is located on the ground floor of the Old Cafeteria Complex, Room G-521. At Brody, the 1 Card may be obtained at the Brody Medical Sciences Building, GE-101 after the appropriate paperwork has been completed. All non med-students must have their 1 Cards made at the main campus location, regardless of class locations. We currently are unable to make student cards at the Brody location.
What do I need to bring? You MUST present a valid picture ID card to get an ECU 1 Card. Acceptable forms of ID include a valid driver's license, state-issued ID card, military ID, or passport. An
ECU ID number is needed to make your 1 Card. You can find your ECU ID number under the "Profile" tab on your
OneStop web page, or look under "What is my ECU (Banner) ID? on the "tools" page.
