The Mission of the Career Banding Employee Advisory Committee is to review the implementation and operation of the Career – Banding program to ensure that employees are being treated fairly in opportunities for career development and compensation levels. The committee will assess and evaluate the operation of the Career Banding program and offer input regarding its effectiveness, efficiency, and equity to employees. The committee will be responsible for:

Serving as a forum for employees to raise questions concerning career banding policy, its implications and purposes as well as to recommend improvements in the policy

Communicating issues within the University on Career – Banding guidelines which require action or resolution

Serving as a liaison between employees within their respective Divisions and the East Carolina University Department of Human Resources
