Transit Information:

ECU Transit offers a wide variety of travel options on a comprehensive system which provides more than 2.5 million rides each year with service both on and off campus. Throughout the academic year and both summer sessions, buses operate on several fixed routes which circulate around main campus and connect to outlying areas, such as the health sciences campus and commuter park-and-ride lots. Service is also provided to off-campus housing and several shopping, dining and entertainment areas around Greenville. Additionally, a point-to-point, on-demand van service called SafeRide works in conjunction with the bus system to help ensure safe connections to evening routes, as well as safe travel around campus and adjacent areas at night after most regular daytime service has ended.

On campus: 300 series:

302 Red: Health Sciences Campus/Brody School of Medicine

303 Blue: Shopping/Entertainment around Greenville

Park and Ride:

610 Minges Safe Ride: SafeRide serves to facilitate a safe and reliable evening commuting environment in the ECU/Greenville area by providing students, staff, faculty and visitors with a fare-free method of transportation to their homes/residences or vehicles. It also serves to facilitate safe and reliable evening movement around the ECU campus.

When the day is done, home is just a phone call away. SafeRide is a point-to-point, demand-response van service operating as a division of ECU Transit. This service works to efficiently supplement the bus system at night to maximize safety after regular daytime service has ended.
