JOEL K. BUTLER
ECU BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Joel K. Butler of Grimesland, Vice President for External Affairs at University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina, was appointed by the Board of Governors.  Butler works collaboratively with University Health Systems regional hospital presidents to foster institutional trust and to convey a positive image. 

Mr. Butler holds a master's degree from ECU in public administration and is the former chairman of the university's Board of Visitors, an advocacy organization.
