ECU BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Robert O. Hill Jr., a Kinston health-care executive, was named to the East Carolina University Board of Trustees by the University of North Carolina Board of Governors. He joined the ECU board in July of 2001.

Hill, a former student at ECU and UNC-Wilmington, is president and chief executive officer of Hillco Ltd., a family-owned company that owns and operates companies involved in nursing homes, home health care, hospice, dialysis, medical supplies, institutional pharmaceuticals, restaurants, insurance, land development, trees and farming. The family companies employ more than 9,000 people in several eastern states.
