KIERAN SHANAHAN

Kieran J. Shanahan of Raleigh is the founder of the Shanahan Law Group. He was elected to the Board of Trustees by the UNC Board of Governors in 2011, and he has recently completed four elected terms on the Raleigh City Council. He is chairman of the North Carolina Property Rights Coalition.

Mr. Shanahan holds a bachelor of science in business administration from ECU and a law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former assistant United States attorney, prosecuting cases in both North Carolina and Georgia.
