MARK TIPTON
ECU BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Mark Tipton, a Raleigh-based developer, and longtime supporter of East Carolina University, has been named to the university Board of Trustees by the University of North Carolina Board of Governors.

Tipton is a managing partner and owner of Whistler Investment Group and a former president of the National Association of Home Builders.

Tipton, a 1973 graduate of ECU, is a member of the ECU Foundation Board of Directors and received an Outstanding Alumni Award in 1994.
