BRENDA T. LEWIS
ECU BOARD OF VISITORS

Brenda T. Lewis is an East Carolina University alumnus with a number of degrees:  Bachelor of Science in History, Masters in Library Science and an Educational Specialist Degree.  Lewis, the 1993 ECU Outstanding Education Award winner, has enjoyed a distinguished career having worked as Media Coordinator with the Pitt County School System and as the Media Supervisor for Pitt County Schools from 1992-94.  Mrs.  Lewis has also been a Graduate School Instructor at East Carolina University in the Department of Library and Information Studies.

Mrs. Lewis has served as President of the Friends of ECU Joyner Library, ECU Library and Information Studies Alumni Assocation and the Pitt County League of Women Voters.  Other professional memberships include the Pitt County Historical Society and Pitt County Literacy Volunteers.
