EcoStar Champion Program

EcoStar Champion Program is a program initiated by the University Utility Conservation & Awareness Committee to recognize individuals, departments, and units on unique ways and significant suggestions to reduce energy consumption by the University community.

The University Utility Conservation & Awareness Committee will recognize individuals, units, and departments who have made suggestions to reduce energy usage in the University community as an EcoStar Champion.

Suggestions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Is the suggestion practical?
  • Is the suggestion technically and economically feasible?
  • If implemented, would the suggestion make a significant difference in energy usage?

To submit a suggestion for consideration by the University Utility Conservation & Awareness Committee to be recognized as an EcoStar Champion, please complete an EcoStar Champion Nomination Form and submit it to University Utility Conservation & Awareness Committee Vice Chair Rebecca Bizzell by email: bizzellh@ecu.edu or fax: 328-4259.
