| This project is to supply a structure of 270,000 square feet at a projected cost of 55 million dollars that will provide East Carolina University, State of the Art, teaching facilities for Construction Management, Industrial Technology, and Chemistry. The structure consists of two Units. Unit one will provide four Lecture Halls on the upper floors and offices for Industrial Technology on the ground floor. Unit two is divided into two sections. The West end provides circulation, student public spaces and offices for Construction Management and Chemistry. The East end provides the latest and most up to date facilities for Teaching, Labs, and research. Floors one and two are dedicated to Industrial Technology and Construction Management. In addition to testing of materials and computer labs will be a Distance Learning Center that will be able to transmit lecture to other institutions. Floors three, four and five are assigned to Chemistry that will use the up to date areas for classrooms, teaching labs and research labs. |
