The Office of Public Service and Community Relations hosts symposia such as the scholarship of engagement, the ethics of public service, the scholarship of engagement, institutionalizing engagement, and monitoring/measuring engagement.

Faculty who are engaged scholars present their scholarship at events such as the National Outreach Scholarship Conference, the International Association for Research on Service-learning and Community Engagement, the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities, professional conferences.

As a part of the office's human capital development mission, the office supports the Engagement and Outreach Scholars Academies including the faculty academy EOSA, the student academies SEOSA and ECS EOSA, and the military academy MEOSA.
