Division of Continuing Studies     
The Division partners with the academic and administrative units of the university to serve business, industry, the military, community colleges, and local school systems. Continuing Studies conducts its activities in partnership with all units of the university and encompasses Summer School, Distance and Extension Education, and Continuing Professional Education.

Division of Research and Graduate Studies     
The Division promotes and supports the research and creative activities of our faculty, and assures that our students receive cutting-edge information and training through outstanding graduate programs.

Eastern Area Health Education Center
The Center's mission to meet the region's health and health workforce needs by providing educational programs in partnership with academic institutions, health care agencies, and other organizations committed to improving the health of the people of North Carolina.

East Carolina Graduate Programs  
In addition to 105 bachelor’s degree programs, East Carolina offers 71 master’s degree programs, four specialist degree programs, an MD program, and 16 doctoral programs.
