The mission of the G.I.F.T. Center is to provide access to research, training, and editing services to support and enhance the efforts of ECU faculty and staff members in obtaining corporate, foundation and other non-governmental grants.
G.I.F.T. Center Services
The G.I.F.T. Center and the Corporate and Foundation Relations staff offer gift and grant-seeking resources including:
- Expert advice on prospect research, proposal development and other areas related to preparing high-quality proposals and presentations
- Tools (resource books, project concept forms, sample proposals, useful Web links, etc.) to assist university faculty and staff who are seeking support for priority projects
- Proposal review and editing services
- Site visit preparation
- The opportunity to search for corporations and foundations whose priorities match your program/project efforts through access to prospect research databases
The G.I.F.T. Center is located in the University Development Office conference room and is open for personal assistance and instruction Monday through Friday.
