The Prospect Research office and all of its activities are designed to generate financial support for East Carolina University through its Division of University Advancement and its academic, medical/health sciences and athletic units in a timely, thorough, thoughtful, ethical and professional manner.
Prospect Researchers are the development professionals that by using Internet and other technologies research, collect, identify, evaluate, analyze, organize, package and disseminate publicly available information from free and fee-based resources as well as from the internal and external databases on individuals, corporations and foundations in a way that maximizes its usefulness by the major gift officer and the appropriate administration.
Prospect research requests are limited to ECU foundation(s), major gift officers and development officers/staff as well as appropriate administration. For other staff/faculty development information needs, please contact your college major gift officer. Research requests are generally prioritized by where a prospect is in the development cycle. You may request information through e-mail to Katie Fulcher or Maria Allen.
