The East Carolina University Foundation was established in 1967 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to fund the margin of excellence at ECU. Gifts to the ECU Foundation benefit the students, faculty, academic programs, and research activities at ECU, and they make a significant difference in the quality and impact of our university.
The ECU Foundation is governed by an independent board of directors who contribute generously of their time, talents and resources. They are responsible stewards of all gifts and they are committed to the highest levels of accountability and transparency in all they do.
