What are your future career goals?

I want to help people improve their fitness and live healthy and happy lifestyles.

Tell me what you like about being a cheerleader at ECU.

I love being on the field at games. There is an enthusiastic atmosphere and so much is going on. To see everyone happy and excited, and the students are always energetic and glad to be there. The spirit at ECU is really something that drew me to the university. When I am on the sidelines, I am able to see everyone, the fans, alumni, coaches, trainers, the other team, and I can take everything in.

Tell me about how you balance being a student athlete with school and everything else in your life.

God, faith, a paper, and pen. I make to-do lists every single day. I have bulletin boards, dry erase boards, and my agenda with goals I want to accomplish. Time management and organization are both keys to success as a student athlete.

How does ECU train students for their careers?

In my health fitness classes, they reference the different job opportunities that are available. This has helped me see how broad the health fitness field is. I am able to see the different angles I can take with my major. With different classes and different professors, I am able to see the variety and what I can do with my major.

What would you tell a prospective student about ECU?

Get involved in clubs and organizations on campus. Make connections and meet people. Take advantage of every opportunity you are given during your time here at ECU.
