    As part of the redesign of ecu.edu, the new homepage will also feature an area designated specifically for announcements. This will give the university a way to inform the entire campus community about issues that impact everyone at ECU.

    • Summer workshops for faculty, staff
      The ECU Office of Faculty Excellence and the Office of Faculty Development invite registrations for workshops including research & statistics sessions and the Teaching with Technology Summer Academy.
    • Parenting classes offered
      The ECU Department of Child Development and Family Relations is offering positive parenting classes aimed at promoting positive relationships between parents and children.
    • Orientation materials accepted May 31
      ECU departments with items intended for distribution to family members during orientation should submit materials between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. May 31 to Room 010, Fleming Residence Hall.
    • Young Writers Camp: Summer 2013
      Do you have an aspiring young author in your family? The Tar River Writing Project will sponsor several camps for young writers -- from elementary to high school-aged -- in Pitt County and the surrounding area this summer.
    • Summer classes 2013
      The first summer session classes begin on May 14 and run through June 18, followed by exams on June 19. Second session classes are set for June 20 through July 25, followed by exams on July 26. The 11-week session classes run from May 14 though July 25, with a midsummer break on June 19. Exams for the 11-week session will be held July 26.
