Greenville was graced with a magnificent day on which to celebrate not only East Carolina?s founding, but also its continued growth and increasing influence throughout the region, state, nation, and world. Students began the celebration with the university?s 101st birthday party, and Founder?s Day continued the festivities with the Centennial Celebration Convocation at Wright Auditorium, Lunch on the Mall, dedication of the Centennial Quilt at Joyner Library, and the rededication of the Carol G. Belk Building.
