School of Dental Medicine - Community Service Learning Centers - NC Map
Last year marked a special milestone for East Carolina University as its School of Dental Medicine welcomed the very first class into the Pirate family.

The dental school is not only beneficial to eastern North Carolina, but to the entire state, as well. As part of the dental school, ECU plans to establish 10 Community Service-Learning Centers in North Carolina. These centers will bring dental care into rural and underserved areas that desperately need good dental care. The center in Ahoskie has opened and is making a positive impact in the community. We are looking forward to opening the other centers so others across the state can receive quality dental care.
