Up the down staircase

From the fifth floor looking down, the interior stairwells of the five-story Science and Technology building evoke the false perspectives captured by MC Escher in his drawing "Ascending and Descending" (right). Others say the stairwells remind them of a scene from Hitchcock’s Vertigo.
