This past summer, hundreds of East Carolina University students set off to see the world as part of the Summer Study Abroad program offered through the Division of Continuing Studies. For many, it was the adventure of a lifetime. For others, the first step down a path of continued travel and exploration. But for all, it was an experience like no other, and another example of how at ECU, tomorrow starts here—no matter which continent here might be.
ECU Summer Study Abroad is committed to providing programs that enrich a student’s endeavors through immersion in other cultures and countries. The Summer Study Abroad program recognizes that international education is an important component of the overall academic experience at East Carolina University, and seeks to provide a channel through which students can gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be effective and successful global citizens.
