Allied Health Celebrates 40th Year

Established in 1967 as the Life Sciences and Community Health Institute, the College of Allied Health Sciences is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

A ceremony and open house will be held 8:30-11 a.m. Oct. 27 during Homecoming weekend to honor 40 distinguished alumni.

More than 700 students are enrolled in the college’s nine departments: Biostatics, Clinical Laboratory Science, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Community Health, Health Services and Information Management, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies and Rehabilitation Studies.
