ECU's High Bay Laboratory
Dedicated in Oct. 6 Ceremony

An Oct. 6 dedication of the High Bay Laboratory at ECU’s Science and Technology Building honored executives from Caterpillar, Inc. and Gregory Poole Equipment Company for donations of $500,000 over a five-year span to the ECU Department of Construction Management. The lab was renamed after both companies. The donated funds will enhance faculty development and training, equipment and materials, as well as lab maintenance and student activities. Following the ceremony, honorees were Ballard’s guests for the ECU Pirate home football contest against the University of Central Florida. (Photo by Marc J. Kawanishi)
