PIRATE PRIDE: Excitement is rising for ECU Pirate football fans as the team moves closer and closer to a second straight appearance in the Conference USA championship game. A win against rival Southern Miss. on Nov. 28 would guarantee a chance to compete for the title of conference champion. ECU has won eight of its last nine home games against Conference USA opponents, bringing the team's record to 7 - 4 overall, 6 - 1 in conference play.
