Think-In 2009 Focuses on Technology and Teaching
East Carolina University's Academic Outreach hosted the fifth annual Think-In Nov. 4 in Mendenhall Student Center.
Entitled "Think-In 2009: A Teaching with Technology Showcase," the event featured laptop poster presentations by 80 ECU faculty and staff.
Presentations focused on technology and teaching strategies that enhance face-to-face and online classes.
Sessions were presented in three tracks: new and emerging trends, teaching methodology, and instructional support and services. A wide range of topics included learning spaces, synchronous and asynchronous collaboration tools, screencasting, case-based teaching and learning styles.
