Career Development and Leadership Center Planned for TECS

The College of Technology and Computer Science will launch a Career Development and Leadership Center for students and alumni this fall, providing information regarding potential employers, internships, scholarships and a job database.

The center will be located in Room 239 of the Science and Technology building.

“We’re very excited about this new venture and what we can offer our students,” said Leslie Pagliari, associate dean of the college and director of the center.

“We are also providing information for employers through our student employment database, to help them find potential employees.”

The center will help prepare students for graduation through real-life experience in their fields and programs designed to develop leadership and interviewing skills. Services will include resume help, job search assistance, leadership seminars, business etiquette dinners, interviews and training to help students access ECU Career Center tools.

“The center is a value-added benefit for our college,” said Computer Science and Technology Dean David White. “It provides a professional experience for both students and our industry partners.”
