The Greenville-based technology company, LBA Group, donated the equipment last month to the department of Technology Systems in ECU's College of Technology and Computer Science. The FaraCage, which protects wireless networks by blocking signals, is worth about $5,000. LBA Technology is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and supply of radio frequency shielding equipment.
