Foushee Heads ECU Center

Samantha (Mandee) Foushee was recently named project manager for ECU’s Center for Survey Research, responsible for all activities and surveys conducted through the Center.

The Center for Survey Research is part of ECU’s Regional Development Services and is designed to conduct and facilitate with all types of data collection including focus groups, web-based surveys, mail surveys, telephone surveys, and face-to-face interviews.


“The Center for Survey Research provides a service for our region,” said Foushee. “It assists ECU, local groups, and government agencies in getting quality survey research at affordable costs, while providing our students with real-life experience and training.”

“Mandee was chosen for this position because she is able to think through projects from inception to conclusion and follow through,” said Ron Nowaczyk, associate vice chancellor for economic and community development at ECU. “She is intelligent, enthusiastic, and is able to apply the skills she needs to make the Center a success for ECU and our region.”

Foushee has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from ECU. She received her Master of Arts degree in industrial-organizational psychology from ECU earlier this year. Prior to her position with RDS, she worked with ECU’s Institutional Planning, Research, and Effectiveness and Human Resources.
