ECU is pioneering a new model for training dental students while at the same time serving underserved regions in North Carolina by providing dental care in Community Service Learning Centers located across the state.

Four of eight to ten planned centers opened this year, as detailed below:


Earlier, centers were opened in Ahoskie and Elizabeth City. Facilities in Spruce Pine are under construction. A Brunswick County center was announced this fall.
