The Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) is ECU's standard operating procedure for labs. It is a requirement of the OSHA Laboratory Standard and identifies each persons responsibility for lab safety, lists specific standard required practices and provides emergency information. 

Laboratory Safety Training reviews the contents of the CHP. Every individual who works in an ECU lab or clinic must complete the laboratory safety training and be aware of the contents of the CHP.
