Important Parking Changes Effective Immediately

Parking Meter Changes

• All meters around dorms have been changed from 30 minutes to one hour maximum time.
• All meters in Mendenhall Student Center and Joyner Library lots have been changed from one to two hour maximum time.

A Zone Parking Changes

         Faculty and Staff: Several lots are designated A zone until 7:00PM. These lot locations can be found here highlighted in red.

·        A new A7 zone has been created for the Heart Institute and Warren Life Sciences Building.

·        A3, A5 and A7 permits are not interchangeable with each other.  You must park in the zone that corresponds with your permit. 

·        A3, A5 and A7 permits are interchangeable with the A1 zone.  You may use your permit to park in any A1 zone on Main Campus.

·        A1 permits are interchangeable with the A3, A5 and A7 permits.  You may park in any of the A zone areas on the Health Sciences Campus.

Other Zone Changes

·        A new B5 zone has been created at the Library, Allied Health and Nursing Building.  This is an effort to separate the student parking from the faculty/staff parking.

·        B3 and B5 permits are not interchangeable with each other.  You must park in the zone that corresponds to your permit.

·        B3 and B5 permits are interchangeable with the B1 permit.  You may use your permit to park in any B1 zone on Main Campus.

·        B1 permits are interchangeable with the B3 and B5 permits. 

Important Permit Information

·        A1, A3, A5 and A7 are faculty/staff permits and are not valid in any A2, B2 or B4 student zone.

·        B1, B3 and B5 are faculty/staff permits and are not valid in any A2, B2 or B4 student zone.
