On-line Vehicle Registration
Faculty, staff and enrolled students at East Carolina University are eligible to register vehicles and purchase a parking permit on-line at anytime of the academic year based on permit availability. Purchases may be made over the web through a secure website, the ECU OneStop System.
Once you log into the ECU OneStop site, access the Tools tab on the page. Look for the Parking and Transportation Services link listed under "Security and Transportation". From the Parking and Transportation Services site you can access your personal Parking Account. Using the links in the center of the webpage, you can create and update vehicle information, address, and contact information. You can also view any current permits, citations, or citation appeals you currently have or have pending.
Individuals registering a vehicle will need the following information: vehicle make, model, color, license plate number, insurance company, policy holder's name and policy number.
An ECU e-mail user ID and password is required to access the ECU Onestop for registration through the on-line system.
The Department of Parking and Traffic Services offers several payment options:
- Cash
- Credit Card Charge (Visa/MasterCard)
- Personal Check
- Gold Key Account (spending account linked to ECU OneCard)
- Automatic Payroll Deduction (faculty/staff only)
Changes to Vehicle Information
Upon completion of the on-line vehicle registration process, your information is automatically saved to your Parking and Transportation Services Account. Any changes in your vehicle registration information or the vehicle displaying the permit must be reported to the parking office. This would include changing insurance company information, changed license plate, etc. This information may be provided by you via e-mail, US mail, by phone, or in person.
