Short-Term Medical
Parking & Transportation recognizes a need for temporary medical parking in zones A1, A3, A5 and A7 and the subsequent parking impact.
The Parking & Transportation office can provide temporary upgrades up to 8 weeks. The upgrades are determined based on information received on the Request for Special Parking form which is to be completed by the individual's physician. Once the signed form is returned to our office, subsequent accommodations will be made.
In order to be upgraded from your current permit into the A1, A3, A5, or A7 zones, a charge of $5.00 per week has been instituted as a fee for medical permits. Fees for medical permits must be paid by cash, check, or credit card at Parking & Transportation Services. Medical permits shall be issued in conjunction with a valid ECU permit.
