Visitors ARRRGH always welcome at ECU!!
Visitors are individuals who are not ECU students or University employees. We welcome visitors to campus and strive to make their visits as enjoyable possible. We ask you to comply with the regulations outlined in the Parking and Transportation Ordinance.
Are you spending the day with us?
Visitors with full-day or long-term parking needs may purchase parking permits from Parking and Transportation Services. Visitor parking permits cost $5.00 per day or $10.00 per week.
Are you with us for a few hours?
Visitors with short-term parking needs may purchase a one-day parking permit or purchase parking time at the parking meters. Parking meters accept quarters and dollar coins. Each quarter purchases 15-minutes of time and each dollar coin purchases 1-hour of time. Most meters allow a maximum of 4-hours to be purchased but some allow less. Please read the information on the meter before use. Parking meters are located through out campus with large quantities near Joyner Library, Mendenhall Student Center, the Student Recreation Center, and Spilman. Parking meters are also located near the residence halls. Please note, the parking meters are a great option that is heavily used and availability may be limited.

Visitors must have a valid handicapped placard or distinguishing license plate in order to purchase a visitor parking permit valid in the handicapped accessible parking spaces. Visitor parking permits cost $5.00 per day or $10.00 per week.

Weekend visitors do not need a permit unless they plan on parking before 4:30pm on Friday.
