Welcome to the home page of East Carolina University Surplus Property Department. We are located at 1104 Clark Street (old Hatteras Hammock facility) off of 10th Street. The Surplus Property Department exists for the disposition of items no longer needed by the University. All departments have the opportunity to view surplus property items for use back on campus by appointment only. These appointments are available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30 am -11:30am and 1:30pm – 4:30 pm. Please call 328-9941 for appointments and any other questions you may have concerning surplus property. The Surplus Property Department also conducts a weekly sale to allow the general public to purchase surplus items no longer needed by the University. Please note the information below:
ECU SURPLUS PROPERTY CASH SALES
The ECU Surplus Property Cash Sales will be conducting sales on the following days until the end of December 2009. Sales will be conducted on Nov 12, Nov. 19, Dec. 3 and Dec. 17. Beginning in January 2010 sales will be conducted on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
Cash only. All sales final.
Small items are cash & carry. Large items must be picked up by 11:30 am on Fridays.

Please be sure to remember to use the electronic Work Order System and not just post-it-notes. Any tagged items without proper paperwork will not be removed.
