Nominate a Staff Senator

Individuals wishing to be considered for the Staff Senate must have the permission of their direct supervisor. After the closing date of nominations, the Department of Human Resources will certify the eligibility of the nominees. Supervisor approval is required before any SHRA, CSS, or non-teaching EHRA employee can be placed on the ballot, and submission of this nomination signifies that the nominee has supervisor approval. Approved candidates will then be notified of their nomination.

All nominations must be submitted between January 31, 2017 and February 28, 2017.

Elections will be held March 30 - April 27, 2017.

Election of senators to the Staff Senate is conducted through the Qualtrics Survey System. Each employee will receive a ballot that includes only those senate seats open in his/her division.
