The By-laws Committee exists to review and update the by-laws to remain consistent with the Senate actions as they are deemed necessary. This committee will receive resolutions and bring them to the floor for discussions and inclusions into the updated Staff Senate By-laws.
Listed are the goals for the Staff Senate By-laws Committee for the 2011/2012 term.
- Review By-laws and recommend amendments to the Executive Committee: a) review and revise format from paragraph structure to bulleted from; e.g. Article, Section, b) track changes, and c) ensure an approved version is readily accessible to constituents.
- Develop By-laws procedures manual to include a committee on-boarding and exit process.
- Review and restructure Staff Senate SharePoint site.
- Add By-laws committee to the Staff Senate Website.
